I just went to pick up my daughter from Maricopa and on the way back, on the 347, there was a crazy dust storm. I had the music playing and all I could see was the road in front of me, nothing else. It got to a point where I started to panic a lil bit while my daughter is on her kindle without a care in the world. This confirmed three things; one, at this moment it was if I was God and she was a fearless being, two, I had all I need in the car with nothing to distract me from my path, and three, I had my daughters trust and total control and it was on me to decide what to do with it. Needless to say, we made it home safe, now I must apply this to my life. I thank God I can see this as more than just me picking up my daughter in a dust storm. #JalahlJr #TheLakeSide #EverythingIsPoetry #NothingIsNormal #BetterThanWhatYoureUsedTo
