I just went to the car wash and as I pulled up to the part where you can vacuum your carpets I noticed a woman and her young daughter. The mother was trying to start her car and it was just clicking and wouldnt start, a pretty sure sign that the battery just needed a jump. They were both sweating, the daughter looked scared and the mother discouraged at the situation. I immediately ran over and asked what I could do to help. I jumped the car and bought both of them bottles of water from the vending machine. The woman had tears in her eyes as she thanked me and drove off. Im not telling this story for recognition or people to say wow youre so great Aric because the truth is Im not. I didnt do anything that any person with the slightest bit of compassion towards other human beings wouldnt do. What the hell is wrong with us that other people can so easily drive by a situation like that and just go on with their day pretending nothing happened? Im heart broken and sick to my stomach
