I keep forgetting that people who live in time ie; according to the clock, linear time and measurement and predominantly left-brain thinking, are accompanied by a certain type of gravity which is very magnetic. I hope to one day adequately explain to them what its like to live in timelessness without being weighed down by linear notions and solidified thoughts. My natural state is joyous and child-like. Ive heard this is true for everyone, but this Tree of Knowledge that fascinates us, the learning, the knowing, the wanting to know more, the battle for facts and logic, the talking and discussing and working it all out, renders me somewhat tired. Its an old sort of feeling that has nothing to do with age. I love good comedy and music and rich colours and perfectly painted sunsets and warm breezes and quite streets at twilight, the way my cat never dishonors her own instincts and is meticulously clean. I love beaches and swimming in crystal clear pools, that isolated silence when my head goes under water, just like in the bath. I love the way a whole new universe emerges when I make a glass bead bracelet and photograph it close up. I love the inside of the inside of things, the bubble perspective created by pure presence and focus. Politics and causes and beliefs and stances and all the things that make for societal progress are only interesting to me because they exercise my mind for a positive aim, and I care about how things turn out. In all other respects I prefer non-aggressive environments.
