I keep getting messages via Linked In about my high school. Well, one of my high schools. I went to two. And it occurred to me I never got a yearbook or had my picture taken. I think they were expensive and times were tough, plus I went to so many schools--I think fourteen--that my high school was just another in an endless chain. I had so sense of loyalty at all. If you include colleges I think Ive attended at least 17 schools. No loyalty to the colleges either. I liked em, in fact I loved college, but they were just schools. From kindergarten somewhere in Anaheim (I think) to UCSB (and then a couple years later LACC), they were just schools. Ironically enough I would love to teach writing. Thats a dream gig. A guy who never gave a damn about school and aced all his tests without studying by writing essays (all writers did that in high school) would love to be a writing instructor. I aint gonna happen, but thats the dream gig.
