I keep hearing that there are people that adopted one or more of the Copiah horses that are now having second thoughts about the adoption and are calling other rescues to take the horses in (in other words they got in over their heads) - Anyone that has adopted one of the Copiah horses that might be having second thoughts about their adoption, or maybe having unexpected issues with the horse that you are NOT sure of or experienced to handle, or you just plain feel your in over your head, please contact me at SonShine Ranch, and I will do my best to help you do whats right by the horse - But please, what ever you do, dont send the horse to an auction or try to give it away - If you do that, all you are doing is making the horse relive the hell he/she has already been through, and thats the last thing the horse or us rescues need - We want these horses to have loving competent homes - If you cant provide that then by all means contact me and well see what we need to do to resolve this - Also, you have my word that all information you provide will be held private - Just give me a chance to help you and the horse.
