I keep reading articles about this Gamergate nonsense. I dont think I have anything tremendously insightful to add to the conversation at this point, but I think its worth it just to chime in again and be another voice condemning it. If I had to draw up a hierarchy of misogynistic dirtbags, pathetic nerds might be the lowest order. We get it, you guys hate women, but are you trolls seriously driving people into hiding for having the nerve to suggest there should be greater diversity in playable video game characters? Threatening murder and worse to women who dare to defend their reputations against relentless slander? I feel so sad for the world that this is happening, and that its based on sentiments so mainstream that few people conceptualize this as the hateful terrorism that it is.
