I keep seeing anti immigration posts and also notice that political parties now see that a way as acquiring votes.... I do understand the Uk is a small country and understand that some people receive financial benefits and may never have made any contribution....I am in no way taking away the fact that some people actually need benefits as they are unable to live a functional life without then...now the point I keep wanting to make but find the words hard is........how far back to you take immigration? is it the people who have just arrive? the people who have been here for over 10 years? over 20 years, their children? their children s children? A lot of people living and working here, came from outside the UK and are just trying to live their life and provide a future and safe environment for their families and them-self..if our government gives them money its not their problem..I certainly would not refuse a hand out, especially if I found it hard to get work or housing.....so lay off immigration....most of us can go far enough back to know a family member who started life in a different country to where they ended up......I say...as long as people are here legally...thats fine buy me........rant over.........
