I keep telling my friends and coworkers that I am going to write a book. So far this year one of my male students urinated on another student then yesterday a different one brought 6 credit cards to school!! And those two incidents are in my TOP 5 for THIS school year!!! So I go to the assistant principal and as I fan the credit cards in his face , I asked, What 2nd grader does this? Before he could answer, I said, When yalll were making the students schedules , why did I have to get all the crazy boys? His response , Crazy can handle crazy! My response , I see yall trying to make me straight-jacket crazy ! Not sure if I should be offended or take it as a compliment? He, the couple of teachers that heard our conversation , and I just laughed!! Smh teaching is DEFINITELY a gift!! I earned a Masters degree in Education but NO school can prepare you for the TRUE day-to-day experiences!! Everybody CANT do what I do !!!
