I keep thinking about the Science Fair and the kids whose work blew me away. So many of them. A few that are rising to the surface (along with Bellas proud moments w/ her volcano while were talking about blowing away and rising to the surface...): Aislings and Ellas home-made PH-removing filtration system to be made cheaply in countries like Sierra Leone to purify the water (& a little jar beside their tri-fold to raise money for Peace Corps!), Tates circuit board and experimentation with the conductivity of different liquids (root beer being the most effective--yay!), Simons experiment w/ the speed and/or drag of different boat shapes in a trough of water with a pulley/spring system, Audreys exploration and discussion of the multiverse take on the universe (inspired by her reflections on where Dr. Who goes when hes between universes, and containing much current science that is testing out some of Einsteins theories now that physicists have means of doing that). I love the kids and families at Pathfinder, their curiosity.
