I knew Dejen who was once an out-standing Fighter-Pilot. I remember his last interview after he was missed by two missiles in air-to-air dogfighting in a very close range aerial compact; it was amazing!! He was a great ace of his high days. Now we have Dejen, who is an inordinate philosopher. We should all meditate and immerse in his words. He said, before he was taken to this 15 years imprisonment, if anyone could tell him there is a single Eritrean prisoner detained without any justice by the ‘government’ he could fight with them. Here, now, he has got enough lessons and is a living-witness to teach us the bitter realities with we all prefer to deny. From my life experience and cultural researches in Eritrea, where I was also born due to destiny, no one has the sense of justice, unless they are truly subjected by their own self. It is exactly like how the fish live on the sea. Each one enjoys eating the smaller one until they are also eaten by the bigger ones. I hate such savagery still exists on this planet!! If this was not true, about this ‘nation’ how come a one man’s rule survives for decades in the face of such injustices?!
