I knew I always wanted to be a nurse, so I became one. And I love it. But after five years of nursing, I knew God was going to write another story for my life. Different than I could of ever imagined. So I walked away from my dream job. And left things and people behind that I loved. And it was hard. But there has been so much beauty and joy and blessings in this new chapter. And Im thankful for little moments like spending time with patients and families on their very first day of treatment that remind me of all the little reasons why my sentimental heart and the other parts that still live inside of me wanted this life and this dream.
