I knew as a lil girl pulling my baby dolls out of the closet & lining them up to do their hair in my Lil desk chair, to piercing barbies ears with sewing pins, to opening up Cosmo & Glamour as a teen, trying to make my make up look like the models on the page, that the beauty industry was for me! So I signed up for Cosmetology, I wish that could be the end and I had just been doing hair happily ever since, but life happened & just months before I wouldve graduated I dropped out! Fast forward 10 + years: Im a single mom having worked many jobs & not happy with any that I had an ah ha moment ...Im supposed to be doing hair! I found a salon, immediately signed as an apprentice, went back to beauty school, barely surviving financially, but still happier than Id been in years! Got my license, started my career! I love doing hair, but what Ive realized thru my journey, more than anything else, I love people, I love diversity in people, I love making them laugh, I love listening to their stories, I love making them look good which makes them feel good, I love helping them & teaching & interacting with people, all walks, all kinds! Fast forward again another 10+ years: I still love doing hair, & Im really good at it! Ive never felt like its even working! My passion for people & helping them has grown even stronger! My children are grown & I have grandbabies ( thats a whole nother level of love), Im remarried to a kind, gentle spirited man, who supports me whole heartedly & most importantly, the most valuable relationship I have now & literally forever, is the 1 I have with God! I have difficulties, sometimes daily, but Ive learned the power of prayer! Ive learned to pray for super natural blessings in my life, and Ive witnessed those prayers answered! God is so good! I believe we share an intimate, personal relationship with God & we have a tendency to keep it private, when sharing it could make all the difference in someone elses decisions, even their lives! Ive been praying for supernatural blessings in my life, in my daughters life, something life changing! I believe with all my heart I was led to It Works, I had never heard of it, I probably wouldve been skeptical if I had heard of the wraps, & quite honestly wouldve probably had blown it off as water weight! I was on fb advertising my photography business when I just happened upon my sponsor in this business today, because I thought she had pretty hair ( go figure (: ) I messaged her, the next day we talked over the phone, I prayed about it that night & I called her the next day & said sign me up! Fast forward 3 months later: Im trippling my 1st month in income, Ive made an extra $100 almost weekly in bonuses ( I love fast starts) & I make $25 in wrap cash, just in sharing wraps & facial mask 1 at a time! Ive signed many loyal customers, who are in love with their products & most want to try other products, but my favorite is when they share in return their b4 & after pics or their love for what their individual products have done for them! I just came back from a conference in Florida, & I heard lots of success stories, all were humbling, all were great, but 1 made the hairs on my arms stand up, spoke to my soul! A couple on stage, & the mother started talking about how a year ago their daughter was on welfare, & didnt have a car, & was struggling trying to make it, God knows this hit home! Her daughter was now, a year later, setting in the vip section, meaning tripple diamond ($104,000 avg. annual income) and above!!! Wow, 1 year!!! I had wanted to sign my daughter on with me from day 1, but let someone influence that decision, that quite frankly, shouldnt have any bearing on our lives! The company had a contest in June, that if you signed 1 loyal customer & 1 distributor & attended conference you would walk the stage, as I stood in line to walk the stage with my team (& I signed more than 1 of each every month) I fought back tears! Have you ever had that, I know, that I know, that I know feeling b4? Well I know, that was just the 1st of many times I will be on that platform, and I knew that when Im up there again, I want to hold my daughters hand in celebration! I know I will share this same story up there 1 day, and like a lot of others I heard share theirs, I wont be able to contain the tears, but thats okay, happy tears are always good! Fast forward to now: I signed my daughter just a few days ago, and Ive watched a fire spark in her already! Were a team, like weve always been, were just taking it to a whole notha level now! I cant wait to see where were at by the next conference, which is in Florida this October! Keep us in your prayers! I know God calls us all to different things, as we all have different talents & different gifts!
