I knew early on that I wanted to do something with my life that involved arts and music...long before I set up my first show and way before Random Media Distribution was even a thought. In my youth I attempted to play several instruments, just never got the hang of any of them. I have an OK singing voice, but nothing thats ever going to make me any money. My drawing abilities are limited to stick figures, and even those dont turn out so pretty sometimes. Despite all of this, I still found a way to be involved with things using the talent I possess, my writing. Whats my point in sharing all of this? This is my point. You may not find success as a MC or a singer, but that doesnt mean there isnt a place for you in this scene. This music scene needs people of all skill sets, people that do things besides play the music on stage...writers, photographers, video directors, graphic artists, studio engineers, public relations/marketing people, screen printers and those with knowledge of the business side of things. Everyone has a part to play, just have to find where you fit into things. If youve gotten this far, I appreciate you reading this. Thank you for your time.
