I knew many, many years ago, when I received that PASS notification in the mail, with RN after my name, that my destiny was to deliver babies. I had the most incredible 17 years doing that, and opened my eyes to things I never in a million years couldve ever imagined. I was so blessed to help with so many miracles, for so many years. I met people, and have friends that I never wouldve had if it werent for that incredible job. I truly felt there was nothing better in life. I have found over the last year that it was the preparation for my true calling, and as a result, I am definitely answering my true calling. I set a goal at the beginning of the year to rehome/rescue 12 dogs this year. I wanted to wait until Monday to announce this so not to jinx anything, (labor and delivery nurses are very superstitious), but Im so excited about this up and coming weekend, Because of one of the most memorable and amazing deliveries of my career (and I do have several), I will be driving to pick up an extra special fur baby that touched my heart from the very first picture. His picture announced that a couple had split up and abandoned him. He was used to toddlers running around, a mom and dad, 2 doggies and a cat that were his other siblings. We have all been beating the pavement to find this boy his furever home. I not only was able to share in one of this couples awesome miracles, I get to deliver another baby for them this weekend. While it is a trial, I have no doubt this boy is going to wow all of them. And what makes it even more special to me, is that its my 12th doggie. Theres nothing that warms my heart more than seeing a happy FurBaby and happy children. I recently did this with my grand babies and. Ow I get to do it again with this awesome family. Theres no greater reward in life, than doing what Im doing right now. For all the tears, theres always an extra happy experience. Its going to be an amazing weekend. 🐾❤️🐾
