One cannot fly into flying. ~ Nietzsche Here is my add on thoughts after reading this...I am not Young enough to know everything. I think that amazing things can start when you are over the age of 45. Passion is the quickest to develop and the quickest to fade if we dont keep it lit. Most of my friends my age are towards the later stages of raising their children. I believe I have always put myself last which I believe as a parent was the right thing to do. I know mine did that for me. Our lives have so many seasons. Seasons of birth, death, sickness, happiness and sadness but I smell a wonderful new season approaching. Late forties, fifties, sixties and seventies for some if we are lucky enough should be a new season of doing some things you always wanted to do but you were always doing age appropriate fun things for your children because their smiles were the most precious sight any parent could see. I am not moving forward with the mentality of I am getting old. I am moving forward with the mentality that says... They are independent , we have raised them to the best of our abilities and they now have their friends that they like spending time with. Now the days are coming to experience some things that we may never have before. That is exciting and can be scary at the same time. New ground never stepped on but waiting to be discovered. I think the next five years could create much growth in the Moss house. Three in college could pinch some of the plans but I am feeling positive and not old!! You are never to old to fly especially when you have already taught your own to stand, walk, run, climb, ride a bike, swim and dance ( well maybe not the dancing part) all that credit goes to Nina Wheeler and Erin Wright Kalfas! Lol
