I know I am one of the naysayers of that video. As I have said before, Singaporeans dont doubt their sincerity in wanting to serve. What Singaporeans doubt is the calibre of the team now in connecting with the rest of Singapore. Very different matter altogether, so dont conflate sincerity with effectiveness in connecting with the rest of the Singaporeans. It might be an in-house production, but to release this on social media for scrutiny - it only reinforces our age-old beliefs of the party of having groupthink, same mold etc. If not them, then who?
