I know I had said I was not going to weigh myself until after the 12 week challenge ended, but the trainer at the gym said that I should weigh at least once a week so that I can check progress and see how my body reacts to different foods and workouts. So I got on the scale today. I knew that I had lost four pounds in the ten days I was going to the gym prior to the first day of the Challenge (which started a week ago today) and I lost four this week for a total of eight in about 2 1/2 weeks). Not to mention how good this new style of eating makes me feel! With my dip recipe (32 ounces non fat Greek yogurt and one package hidden valley ranch dip mix) I will never feel hungry again. Tonight I tossed two wheat tortillas in the oven until they were crispy (total 220 calories for both) and then broke them up and used them with the dip........superb! Also bought a 32 ounce mug for work so that I can keep better track of my water. Going to try and drink 120 ounces per day consistently. Worked out today and I am already lying in bed whipped.....
