I know I have general contractor friends, real estate friends and home owner friends on here. Were getting ready to do some work on our house (1,432 sq ft, 3br 2ba) and wondered what any of you experienced for costs of the following projects. Ballpark figures or per square foot estimates/ranges are fine. We just want to make sure were on the right track. 1) Hardwood laminate flooring + installation 2) Painting all walls (well do this ourselves) 3) Refinishing kitchen cabinets (currently oak, refinishing to paint, doing it ourselves) 4) Privacy fence in back yard (small plot, the whole lot is only 1/10 acre and were only wanting the back yard fenced in) Thanks a ton for any input.
