I know I have many small business owners in my friends list, what do you folks think about this mess? I can see more legal actions over disagreements of this nature upcoming in the future. It needs to be hashed out where both parties are legally protected online. Straight up, if a small business owner is doing their job with integrity there are still a few folks out there, that are unrealistic and abusive and will not hesitate to lie in an attempt to damage your reputation, all in order to get what they want! Those personalities do not need to be allowed to ruin a mans professional reputation. But by the same the standard, if a business does not practice in an honest fashion, the victimized client ought to have every right to post their TRUTHFUL experience online for others to see. The way it stands right now it is too easy to abuse from a dishonest consumers prospective, and that needs to change from a legal stand point so that businesses are not so tempted to be putting clauses (of questionable legality) into their service agreements that are designed to limit a consumers ability to post a bad experience on line.
