I know, I know, this is broad, and probably not completely true, but still. Why does the far right wing (which seems to prevail right now) seem to be up in arms over the things they are up in arms over? They dont seem to be connected with genuine human issues, but with the call to arms over trumped-up gotcha moments, and spreading fear-based lies to bring the under-informed into the fold. My hope is that the efforts to trade real compassion for false paranoia will be the end of this embarrassing Tea Party movement. Please tell me that people under a certain age just dont have the stomach for their BS, and we are moving toward a more civilized and respectful society, rather than the bleak zombie world predicted and seemingly hoped for by the Nattering Nabobs of Negativity that populate the right wing media and Congress.
