I know I might make a few people mad with this but here goes. For the last several weeks all I have heard about is this teacher that carried a gun into New Jersey. Got caught with it and is now in jail. I disagree with any law restricting an American from owning and carrying any gun they want. But we as responsible gun owners do have to follow the law. That is what makes us responsible. If you are going to travel with a gun you have the responsibility to know the gun laws of the places you are traveling to. You dont have to like the laws just have to go by them. There are several sources online to get the info for where you are traveling to. Or go to your favorite gun store and get a guide to traveling with a firearm. If carrying concealed make sure to know what states will honor your Concealed License. As for this teacher in New Jersey, she has now been in jail for 46 days. And has been denied a motion of dismissal or admission to a pre-trial intervention program, she is facing up to three and a half years in prison — all for what she readily admits was a honest mistake. In New Jersey they will make an example out of her. She has no one to blame but herself.
