I know I might receive a lot of backlash for this one (@ Val MommyofTwo got me thinking of this now)....and I know I might sound ignorant...but I dont believe it is possible for a man to be faithful...Ive always felt this way. Everyone says...why would Jay-Z cheat on Beyonce? But why does any man cheat when they have a good woman? My theory, and I must add not backed by any scientific research or data...I believe that it is OPPORTUNITY plus his constant need to be validated as MAN that results in him cheating...among other things such as power and control..OPPORTUNITY plus EGO results in cheating! Now a man that constantly cheats on a good woman, especially one that accepts it, continues to cheat because deep down inside he doesnt have any self-worth, and he knows that she can do better than him...the more women that he can cheat with validates his existence as a superior being when he knows hes a piece of crap that isnt worthy of her love, at the same time it reinforces his control and power over her because that good woman wont let him go. Power and Control makes him the man.. I blame Gender norms...
