Now to give you some examples WHAT COULD I BUY ..$8 could buy you 15 organic apples OR 25 fruit trees for farmers in Honduras to grow and sell fruit at their local market. ..$30 dollar could by you an ER DVD box set OR a First Aid kid for a village in Haiti ...$73 could buy you a new Moble phone from walmart OR a New moble health clinic to care for AIDS orphans in uganda ...$2400 could by you a second generation High Definition TV OR schooling for an Entire Generation of school children in an Angolan Village. Now think about how much we spend a day ?? how much do you spend a day ?? a week ?? a month ?? On just stuff that you dont realy have to have. According to UNICEF, 22,000 Childern Die each day do to Poverty. And they die quietly in some of the porrest Villages on earth, Far removed from the scrutiny and the conscience of the world. Nearly a billion people entered the 21st centruy unable to read a book or sign their names. Just dont take what you got fo rgranted . Just think about how lucky we have it here in the USA. That is my two cents for tonight
