I know I said goodnight about an hour ago, but here I am again. Since this massacre began, something strange has happened: I simply cannot listen to music, although as a rule this is a mainstay of my existence. I walked out of an interesting piano recital this evening in the National Concert Hall (Id paid my €15) just after the interval: I simply couldnt concentrate - everything felt so unreal. Music is suppose to transport us away from these terrible realities temporarily, but it doesnt work for me. And as for composing the damned stuff... Goodnight.
