I know I share a lot- a LOT- of my causes on Facebook and ask you to share them, watch them, whatever, but Jonathan Hoffman (Jon, as we know him), the man who created this charity and is throughout this film, we had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know as a friend last year. :) He is SUCH a wonderful guy, really and truly and the most genuine person I have ever met. He is SO dedicated, really, beyond and this charity deserves a shout out, some support, if you can afford it. Educating kids and giving them a safe place to learn is a MAJOR thing in Afghanistan, especially in the remote villages he has been doing it in. Direct Aid International, I can personally vouch for as I know every word is 100% truth. His life cant be easy but he does what he loves and you can see it on his face every time he talks about it. :) Please, check it out. At about 14:40, it gets pretty much what you see in the news but the rest is really beautiful images and video of rural Afghanistan. Its wonderful.
