I know I shared this video and story several days ago but wanted to put an update on it. Just watched the Ellen Show from earlier in the week. She heard about this and invited the young boy and his mom and sister to the show as well as the Air Force Colonel he helped. The original $20 was passed from the Col to a local charity as his way of paying it forward. The mom of this young boy has started the Snowball Express, a foundation for Gold Star children like her two. She wants to bring them together this summer in TX for 5 days of fun. Ellen and Shutterfly paid it forward by giving $20,000 to this project and a copy if the Lego hame to the boy and tickets for him to visit Lego Land in CA and Expedia paid it forward by giving Col and his wife a 6 day trip to HA. Just like the mom said she tried to install in her two that kindness pays.
