I know I will piss some people off for this, but Im going to say it anyways. With the way lightsaber fights have evolved over the years, especially with the fights involving Christopher Lee & Ian McDiarmid in Episode II & III, its olny a matter of time before they go back to the fight between Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader in Episode IV and extended it using CGI. And probably the other lightsaber battles from the original trilogy too. Despite the naysayers who say leave the films alone, I would actually be comfortable with this. Now before someone says otherwise, I have been a huge Star Wars fan my whole life & I remember what they were like before any of the changes or the prequels. But unlike the vocal minority who complain constantly about the changes, Im not one of those. With the exception of maybe 2 changes, I have no problem whatsoever with the new stuff. Personally I think if they did go back and added new material to those classic lightsaber battles it would only prove even more how badass Jedi & Sith really are. I mean if you got Dooku & Yodas old asses jumping off walls, why wouldnt an older Obi-wan not do the same? If he had really cut himself off from the Force so much in 18 years of exile then a more seasoned Darth Vader, who has dedicated those last 18 years to becoming stronger, wouldnt even had to waste more than one lightsaber swing to defeat him. Thats just me using logic on this one. And the fights from Empire & Jedi might not need it per say, but a few small additions probably wouldnt hurt them either. Like I said this is my opinion & Ill leave it at that.
