I know Ive asked similar questions in the past, but do you think that theres a piece of every person, small as it may be, that realizes just exactly how batshit insane they really are? I mean this sincerely...I mean we all know were screwed up, right? That theres really no such thing as well-adjusted and normal? Okay, so if we start from that basic agreement, I think its fair to extrapolate that the real depth of your own insanity, from relatively innocuously eccentric to the aforementioned batshit crazy, is inversely proportional to how crazy you THINK you are. In other words, if youre convinced youre totally, irrevocably screwed up that means youre probably pretty okay. If, on the other hand, you think youre the yardstick by which greatness and sanity in all others should be measured, youre probably a serial killer. I call it the Wonko The Sane Memorial Theory Of Mental Health.
