I know Ive been all over Extra Life this past week and a half, posting and ranting about it (and Ill probably not stop until after its done.) But, its for an incredible cause, and I see no reason to stop until all of you, and all of your friends/family, hear about it! With that, Id like to share an email sent to me from Extra Life this morning: Dear Josh, Welcome to game week. Our official Extra Life Game Day is this Saturday and our support team has kicked into high gear to make sure everything is ready on our end. Over the rest of this week please keep an eye on the Extra Life Blog, Facebook, Twitch, and Twitter for important updates to make sure you make the most of this year’s event! But before we celebrate totals and subject our retinas to an endless onslaught of pixels and sprites, there is critical work to be done for the kids that we serve. In the time that it takes you to read this, 62 kids will face something unthinkable. Every single minute of every single day, 62 kids will be rushed into a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in need of lifesaving treatment. Some have had accidents and need the best care in the world to save their lives. Other kids will sit with their parents as they courageously face a cancer diagnosis. And in every single case, your local CMN Hospital WILL be ready to fight for them. The reason that they will be ready, is that you decided that this fight is your fight too. Thank you.
