I know Ive praised Jeremy Soule before, and I cant do it enough. This guy is one of my favorite composers; all his work is brilliant, and I consider Skyrims soundtrack to be one of the best Ive ever heard. Thus, much of the games music impacted my writing, and few tracks had as much impact as this one. The city of Snowreach was inspired by my favorite city in Skyrim: Windhelm. Its an ancient city, perhaps the oldest human settlement on the continent, and you can really feel the history of the streets and buildings as you walk through its alleys. I wanted to capture this feel in Paradigm, and this song was what I associated with Windhelm (it seemed to play the most there).
