I know Jesus and I talk to God, And I remember this from when I was young, Faith, hope and love are some good things He gave us, And the greatest is love... I will never forget where I was on that fateful day 13 years ago, nor will I forget the way that we, as Americans, all put our differences aside and united against an enemy who showed us a side of evil we never knew existed. My heart will never stop breaking over the lives lost and the souls affected and I will never forget the sight I saw in the NYC Skyline as I headed home from school that morning confused and scared. Let us be thankful for the privilege of being from this beautiful country and for the men and women who fight for our freedom (on our own soil and on foreign soil) each and every day day - not just today. These men and women are our everyday heroes. I love this country and what we stand for because we as Americans are like a family - we may not always agree and we may not always get along but if you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us and you will pay. We were founded on love and freedom and that is what we will stand for always. God Bless the USA.
