I know a homeless married couple who live in their truck; I think - TopicsExpress

I know a homeless married couple who live in their truck; I think of their condition of living and I could almost turn my face away from what looks like an unbearable severe case of poverty and lack; I then look at their faces when I visit them, and feel the love they show to anyone who seems to really care enough to stop by and share a Yoo Hoo or a kind word; I then see without having to look or analyze any deeper: motives feelings, etc that they are in this together and I am awed by what I see ; I see love and unconditional God kinda love that will stand the storms of famine , and cold winds of winter Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 says 9) two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labour; 10) for if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falleth:for he hath not another to help him up; 11) again if two lie together, then they have heat; but how can one be warm alone? 12) and if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him: and a threefold cord is not easily broken. I see this in this homeless couple; they have decided to just surrender to love for each other and have faith in God that it will get better; I admire this and long for this kind of bond that money just cant buy; it is like Jesus in His selfless love for His bride the church; It cannot be established with time; it is often a fast quick event in your heart that takes you by surprise; I found this kind of love for someone recently; and though I would do anything for it to be accepted and returned; I must choose to just simply love and not let lifes cold winds of the world harden my heart; It is a wonderful thing this love; I survived divorce several years ago and thought I would never find or trust that right person again till fall of last year; Although it is sweet to feel and know, it was given to me to give away to one person only; yes two are better than one; So I choose to give up; surrender to love; I know this couple will shelter and guard their love for each other from all that life brings.. what about you friend? Jesus died for you so you could surrender and live for Him. No matter your decision he still loves you with an everlasting love! Check it out in a King James Bible near you at John 3:16 Oh and by the way to reach out with love isnt hard to find an opportunity for, if you will look at the mission fields of America right in your own back yard; :)
