I know a large portion of the anti-vaccination group is anti-chemical, all natural, hippie types but whenever I hear a religious person say theyre anti-vaccination cause theyre going to trust God to protect them instead, it reminds me of that story of the man in the flood church people always used to tell. There is flood warning and the mans neighbor comes over and says Need a ride out of town? Ill drive you! The man says No thanks Im waiting for God to save me. So his neighbor leaves and the mans house floods. He crawls up to the roof where a boat of people see him. They come over and say Hop in! Well take you to safety! He says No Im waiting for God to save me. They beg him to hop in but he refuses so they leave. The flood rises above the roof and the man grabs on to a floating log when a helicopter sees him. They lower the ladder and implore him to climb up to which he replied No thanks! Im waiting for God to save me! They fly away. The flood rises, the man drowns, and finds himself in heaven. He marches angrily up to God and says Why didnt you save me!? God replies What are you talking about?! I sent your neighbor, a boat, and a helicopter! Close proximity to medical resources is a blessing many dont have. These people should be grateful and use it.
