I know a lot of you apparently only want to talk about John Boehner, but we’ve moved on to other work in Congress. And, as promised, today we passed a bill authorizing the Keystone Pipeline. While I know we have done this a few times before, this is the first time we have done it since the GOP took the Senate, so the prospects for passage look good. I know the President has threatened a veto. That’s fine. That is his right. But I will look forward to his explanation as to why he is smarter than everybody else and why the voters, and the the people they just elected -- who passed this on a strong bipartisan basis -- are wrong. This is the first battle with the White House of the new Congress. It won’t be the last. Next week: immigration.
