I know a lot of you are looking at the radar right now and scratching your heads. But remember this is a coastal storm with back building, wrap around effects. This means that our snow will actually be coming from the northeast this time around and not the southwest, which is a little unusual around here. So when you look at the radar it will actually be the stuff that is already offshore that will hammer away at us overnight. Also, the winds are really going to pick up as the storm bombs out. Coastal flooding is a strong possibility down the shore and blizzard conditions as well as extended power outages are likely in Ocean and Monmouth counties.
