I know, another ridiculous post from Marc with his kids...but this one is good. First pic of horizontal sleepers was the calm after yesterdays storm, the vertical pic is from this morning...the calm before todays storm. As I sit here with my coffee, I am thinking they know not what they will teach me today....then the idea to repost the third pic of Taylor. I mentioned that I wanted my last memory before I lost all my marbles to be of TKs statement, Daddy, I think reading is getting my brain situated...We never want to forget, right? She knows not what she has taught...in my classroom, on the field and in consulting young athletes I used to refer to our experiences as shaping our beaks....little Darwin finches thing right. She knows not what she had taught her daddy...I will never forget that moment in my bedroom as it will now form the foundation of my most important messages as an educator, coach and consultant. I plan on using it at our football banquet on Sunday to explain how sport teaches life, I plan on using it often from here on out...someday she will know what she taught her dad when she was 5 years old! Each day we move forward and get our brains situated...love my girl!
