I know full well how a patient who has had bypass surgery will go through good days and bad days but I think they fail to tell you that the caregiver also goes through good days and bad days after surgery. Its been a difficult journey and I guess Steve and I both are just too anxious to get him healed. He had to be returned to ICU because of fluid in his lungs. They finally managed, we hope, to get it under control tonight. The next step would have been to intubate him, which they would prefer NOT to do. So now we just have to wait and see if this will get him over this bump in the road. Fingers crossed!!
