I know it is crazy...but this is sooo important. I feel that if your belief system is static...visited only when you visit a temple once a week, it does not serve every cell, mystery and lesson that faces you all of the time. As you explore, and ponder new ways of understanding the universe, is there room for evolution of consciousness.....or are you so busy re-hashing, judging and re-examining old material. If the old material takes on a different shapes and helps you see something new then by all means that is a living and breathing doctrine that moves you into new spheres of experience and love, but if it keeps you in one static spot...repeating the same jargon....making you feel fear or guilt is not really serving to move you...help you evolve.... We are on a path of discovery ...mostly an internal one....but yes the exciting external also....your doctrine, beliefs and the such should be living....moving and able to evolve as you do!!!!
