I know it may seem silly, but I wrote an open letter to Robin Williams even though I know he will never read it. Ive never been actually upset because of a celebrity dying, but he was more than that. Just like Jim Carrey and Chris Farley, he was one of the reasons I am who I am today. I never had the pleasure of meeting you or seeing you perform live, but I grew up watching you perform magic on screen. One of my earliest memories is watching Hook with family members, acting out the scene where Rufio dies at the request of my two sisters. I was always a happier and better person when I saw your movies. The joy you brought from all of your many wonderful performances was massive. You were one of the few that inspired me to act, and you played a major role in my early love of cinema and comedy. I should also mention that you always reminded me of my own father. I must say that it made me feel a close connection with you. The pain that all of your family members, friends, and fans are feeling right now is just too real. You taught us so much, and we will never forget. I love you Robin Williams. God bless you. R.I.P.
