I know its a bit early, but, before I tuck in my four-legged ones and throw myself on to my bed (overly tired), I wanted to share with my Baltos brothers the newest updates. On Saturday, August 2, Balto and his brothers will be 4 months old .... Where in the world does the time go ... ? MelodyKurt Barrett - Crystek Kelly Weir - Caleb Diana Ferrell - Chance - now Eiger Kirsten Fock - Valentin Blue boy in Spain - Corso I dont know about you, but I had forgotten so much of the puppy stuff, because its been more than 11 years since I had a baby Berner in the house .... :D But I wrote down stuff on my calendar, so I wont forget again: Now, at the beginning of 4 months, Balto weighs in at 43.4 pounds (19.7 kg) 10 days ago, he lost his two upper front teeth, and the new ones came in a day later, like two beautiful white pearls ... :) Two days after that, he lost his two lower front teeth, and the new ones, again, were coming in a day after that. A day after he lost his first front tooth, I noticed changes to his tail ....... his tail now reached the ground, and there is a patch of smooth, shiny, black fur - replacing the fluffy baby fur. And --- he bites ...... like a piranha ..... and he doesnt stay still for anything ! Before I can say something because he jumped on the couch, he is gone already ...... thank goodness for puppy classes ... :) Wishing all of Baltos siblings great success with THEIR training and happy growing up ......
