I know its been a while since I updated on Tonys condition. He injured his back in early Oct. and he thought it was a pulled muscle......and since we didnt really have a primary doctor here in the U.S. overseeing his care, he just took it easy somewhat in hopes it would heal. And was taking a muscle relaxer as well. We recently found a new doctor and I asked him to order a cat scan on Tonys back to see what is really going on. We got the results yesterday. He has two bulging discs and compression fractures on two vertebrae. No wonder hes been in so much pain! Long term use of the steroid he has to take for keeping brain swelling down also causes bones to become weak....along with other awful side effects. This steroid has been a necessary evil, but we are reducing the dosage immediately. Hopefully he can wean off of it fairly soon. Other than that, hes doing well! I would appreciate prayers for a speedy recovery of his bones and discs. thank you!
