I know its early to think about this, but I just had a good question from a photographer concerning Holiday cut off dates. We dont really have cut off dates anymore. We dont get as bogged down as we used to back in the film days! I suggest telling your clients they have to order by Thanksgiving. then when they call you the first week of Dec. tell them you will make an exception and see if you can submit one more order. like its a BIG DEAL! That gives you a few days to place the order to us, a few days for us to produce it and a few days to ship it to you. Be sure to leave an extra day or two for shipping as they get busy and no one can predict the weather! Also if you do need a rush order very close to Christmas, dont turn it down, call us! We can usually expedite an order if needed. Sometimes we have to charge a rush fee, but if you need another print that you miss-ordered it can be worth it to deliver a completed order to your client. If you client calls frantic and needs something for the holidays you can pass the extra charges on to your client. Be prepared to pay extra shipping fees for expedited shipping if needed! Lets make this a prosperous and pleasant Holiday Season!
