I know its late, but I would really appreciate some prayers for Tim. To make a very long story short, he went in on the 26th for laparoscopic surgery on his intestines. (Tons of scar tissue needed to be removed after chemo & radiation & 2 emergency exploratory surgeries many moons ago.) They ended up having to open him up to remove the scar tissue. The next day, he had a complication and had to have a second surgery to fix that problem. He was improving, or seemed to be anyway. But last night, it was obvious that he was getting worse instead of better. The doctor called me at 5:30 this morning...his intestine had ruptured. The good news is that he had been on an all liquid diet. They went in for a third time today to remove the ruptured part and reattach the intestines. Hes on a strong antiobiotic...and pain meds...and seems to be doing better, but hes pitiful to look at with all of the tubes...some of which are causing a good deal of pain themselves. Please pray that he is finally on the mend and that his pain subsides as quickly as possible.
