I know its long but I think everyone should read what Ive wrote. Weve been raised, told not to bully and judge yet everywhere we look media has always contentiously done so. Famous people, the ones we all tend to idolize, get ruthlessly gossiped about and we buy it; from style change to weight gains to weight loss to relationship issues, and everything in between; we always criticize. Considering at school weve had anti bullying related things such as, Amigo week and Eva Olsen coming in I figured that’d change things, it hasnt yet. I have a variety of friends from a variety of social circles so I hear all sorts of cruel and judgmental things people say to or have to say about each other. People tend to forget that everyone has their own lives, struggles, feelings, thoughts and reasons for what they do; in reality none of it is truly known by anyone other than that person. We’re a society quick to judge, quick to ignore and slow to change. You may think someone is just annoying, dumb, ugly, fat, boring, sluttish, or any other adjective but we arent defined by adjectives alone. Instead of treating people poorly spend some time to actually get to know who they are and what they have going on. In life we only know most people for a relatively short amount of time, so why forever be remembered as a bad memory. Being rude to someone is never an option and I’m tired of seeing it.
