I know its not in Tampa, but if youre a fan of seafood, its one you may want to take a look at this weekend! 32nd Annual John’s Pass Seafood Festival Fri., Oct. 25, 3-11 p.m. Sat., Oct. 26, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Sun., Oct. 27, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. This year the fest opens earlier, at 3 p.m. on Friday. The food area has been expanded onto Village Boulevard and claims to have more fish, crustaceans and other underwater critters than ever before, as well as healthier menu selections and specialty samples — all at more than a dozen different food stands. At 5 p.m. on Fri., in the main food court, a Best Grouper Entree contest will be judged by celebrity judges (Terry Tomalin of the Tampa Bay Times, Madeira Beach Mayor Travis Palladeno and Mathew Powers, Award Winning Wine Master/Vino Florida). Halloween Block Party from 7-11 p.m., Saturday, October 26 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday, October 27 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. On Saturday, a children’s Halloween costume contest will take place at Windworks at 3 p.m., and kids can trick or treat throughout the Village from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
