I know its protocol to wait until the polls close but based upon a convergence of circumstances (and the fact that Im unopposed), Im feeling very good about the outcome in my election tonight and I see no reason to wait to say thank you for the opportunity to continue serving the public. When I was first elected State Representative at the age of 32, I never would have imagined still being in office today. At the time, I said in an interview that Id like to serve as long as I felt that I was still making a difference. Ive continued to run because I still believe that there are fights to be fought, voices to be heard from, and improvements to be made.
