I know its still early in the evidence gathering stage, but this is my take on what happened in Ferguson -- The cop, Darren Wilson, confronted Brown while he was still in his vehicle. During their initial conversation Wilson began to get out of his car, and Brown jumped him, pushed him back into the car and attempted to wrestle the cops gun from him. In that altercation the cop sustained a bruising blow to his eye. At some point Brown panicked and began to run away because Wilson gained positive control of his weapon. The cop yelled for him to stop .. Brown first put his hands up, then turned towards Wilson, noticing Wilson was having problems seeing. Brown then decided to take a chance at rushing the cop. Wilson had some ability to see and, fearing for his life he shot Brown in the arm in an attempt to get him to stop his charge. He shot again, in the arm, but by then Brown was charging hard and began to lower into a football like stance preparing to ram the officer. At this point Wilson feared for his life and he shot Brown in the leading part of his body .. his head. Browns weight and momentum still carried him forward and Wilson just kept shooting.
