I know many of you may not know me as well as some do but what Im going to share is just nothing but God blessing me more than I ever imagined in spite of myself. Life is a gift and that gift comes in pieces in our lives. But life also happens and can fall to pieces. 4 years ago my life was so broken I didnt think it would ever been whole again. But amazing things happen when you let the healing begin and let God take full control of your life. My passion since I was a little girl was singing. I have been singing since I was old enough to walk. I traveled with my mom in a quarter and sang for years and years. I also received a voice scholarship right out of high school but gave it up so I could get married 29 years ago. I still sang in church up until my divorce...at that point I totally lost the song in my heart and I didnt really think I would ever use my talent again. But God, still had a plan through of the pieces of my messy life. Ive been blessed with a man that can sing and loves music. We have had the opportunity to sing together several times and its truly amazing. And to put icing on the cake next month we are finally going to live a God size dream. We are traveling to New York and will be singing with a choir at Carnegie Hall with no less than my favorite Christian group...Casting Crowns!! 2 days of rehearsals with them followed by a sold out concert. Never would I have dreamed that God would allow me such an opportunity. I am thankful everyday for the gift of second chances!
