I know most of the people on my list is supporters of the Up. I would like to congratulate you all in being the highest vote getter you all were extremely creative went on the ball, marketing, socializing, mobilizing I must say job well done. The colors of the flag have come together and formed our new government I wish them much success to keep the faith and stand strong. The best thing I have seen leaders done in a long time is come together put aside pride and ego and work together for the people of the country. Yes, one day we would like to see a country governed by one, but we are a multicultural island uniquely governed by two nations maybe it is not meant to be one but to practice morals and principles of togetherness that the country can grow and build. That we can have a better St Maarten full of opportunities and growth for everyone with everyone. Thats just my opinion . This year was my first year voting, it felt great and I hope my candidate continue to work for his people as he have done in the past. St Maarten have hope in your government do not condom yourself in negativity. I trust in a god and if this day never had to be it wouldnt, the Lord has already showered us with blessings . Red, democratic party, White, National Alliance and Blue, United People Progressive Party. we are one island, one people.
