I know not the same, but similar BS!! My Enbridge Natural Gas bill. My heat and my hot water are both gas. CUSTOMER CHARGE: The cost of THEIR operations, billed monthly NO matter if you use any gas at all!! DELIVERY TO YOU: The cost to safely deliver gas to me and is billed based on consumption, the MORE gas used, the LESS the delivery charge is. I wonder what the base charge is? SITE RESTORATION CLEARANCE????? Credit?? lol, the way we are billed, I would think Id have a say as to how this money is distributed! TRANSPORTATION TO ENBRIDGE: The cost to transport Natural Gas from Western Canada and the US to Enbridge in Ontario!! This charge is billed based on consumption....again, I wonder how consistent this is? GAS SUPPLY CHARGE: Cost of the ACTUAL gas you use! COST ADJUSTMENT: A refund or charge (gotta check my older bills) to reconcile the different between what Enbridge forecasted to pay and what they actually paid. It may include components for gas supply, transportation and delivery, etc....so in other words, they can bullshit this charge anytime. But also YOUR neighbor should be paying or getting the same credit as you each month. Very interesting....
